What goes on the hard drive?

This is just a question. If you use a "save as" on a picture or video from the web and save it directly to the usb stick does any of that stay on your hard drive or does it by pass it and go directly to the usb?

 

If you save it to a USB stick or external hard drive, it only stores the file there.

If you want to save it in both places, you either have to click on "Save As" again for the other location or save it to one location (example: C/My Documents) then copy the file to the external storage device.
