What happened to Collector's Forum ?

As things move on, things change and we decided within the admin team and from feedback from a few members a week or so ago to merge some forum areas due to lack of usage, sadly those areas where asked for over a year ago and still folk posted the gadget, car, home and hearth etc threads in the lounge and did not really utilise those areas, so they are now removed as forum areas and the lounge will suffice.

So they where merged so no need to cry, it happens.

We constantly move and change the forum, while some things can be implemented immediately some are chatted about for a long time, as you will well know we have tried an Arcade, Shoutbox, HBT areas, some stay and some go.

 

The Buy, Sell, Trade forum was gone a while back after one too many incidences of people getting ripped off. It was decided it wasn't worth having.

 

That's what we figured...there's a lot of options out there for people to buy and sell used computer parts. It wasn't worth doing it here anymore. It wasn't used often anyway.

That has the hallmarks of TimW on it, if it was me then I was equally having a great title thinking day


Folks what you will and always have is that the forum with change over time and forum areas will come and go, its progression and regression at times (depends on your thinking), but its an evolving place so change is inevitable.

But the core values are tech support and that will always come first.

 

Yes, just one of those days where I felt a few of the Admin. folks title's needed spiffing up a tad. LOL
