What have I done Now??

I cannot enter numbers in forms. when I type a number, nothing happens; however, when I click NumLock my jukebox opens.:banghead

 

This actually happened to me at school once, except that the space bar was doing backspace. I switched the keyboard and then everything was fine. Maybe you could try another keyboard to see if it really is your keyboard or if it's just software.

I've also seen an extensive tutorial on the net for a prank similar this, if your problem is a prank.

 

Go into the Control Panel and look at the Keyboard settings and see that the device is working properly. Check under Regional Options and make sure the language and region is correct. You could also go into the Device Manager and click the plus sign next to Keyboards, right click your keyboard, and see if you can reload or roll back the driver. If it's a USB keyboard, unplug it and try a different USB port. If none of this works, try a system restore to a date before the problem started. If it still doesn't work, visit your local used PC store and grab a used keyboard for $5....
