Alright well im about to go buy a ati radeon video card.. but im not sure which one i really want.. i use my computer for lots of things such as gaming (counterstrike , half-life etc..) , some video editing , music , photoshop.. but the main thing i wana get the video card for is to get better fps on the games.

I am also planning on eventually getting a 512mb stick of memory to add on to the current 512mb stick

Im just wondering what should i consider before buying these things? one thing that came into my head was the power supply on my comp.. im not too sure what it is.. its a compaq presario 6350ca 6000 series.

    Everest report attached.

Everest notes your system is only 4x AGP, most 8x cards should be backwards compatitable??
Your using Fat file system, NTFS would be better
I think your PSU is 233w

    Adding ram/Video card/PSU Humm?
Your money would be better spent on new system.

buy the ram, and the video card, just make sure to get the agp card and not the pci-express card, then when you can, buy a 400 watt power supply. You'll be able to run the card in your current system now, but i would definetley consider upgrading the psu eventually. hope this helps.

By the way ASUS, if you look at newegg.com at the x1300, you'll see that it's either 4x/8x. so it'll work on either 4x or 8x agp slots.
