What Is A Tf Memory Card? And Should I Buy A Product That Has One?.

I was looking to buy a Dashcam for my Nephews Xmas. It says it has a TF Memory Card but i am not sure what this is and i have also been told to steer clear of a product that has one.

The newest version is the 0806 but I would go with the slightly older 0805 as the newest ones have bugs to be worked out.

 

TF is the acronym for TransFlash.
And as plodr said, it's now called MicroSD.

The higher the class, the faster the write speed.
Class 4 supports HD and Full HD Video Recording.

Capacities:
SD up to 2 GB.
SDHC more than 2GB up to 32GB.
SDXC more than 32GB up to 2TB.

The minimum memory requirements should be Class 4 MicroSDHC or SDHC.

I have also asked them if it works with Win Ten.

 

Good specs for the price.

Why? It records to a MicroSD card, not a PC.

 

It uses a low end processor, it's not full HD (720P vs the 1080P they claim) as the ad claimed, and night time recording isn't good. You can buy better but not for that price. The reviews indicated people were mostly satisfied for the price. My verdict: you get exactly what you pay for. No more.

 

I think i will get him something elese.
