What Is Best Bugfree Safe Youtube Video Downloader August 2024 ?

Hi,
Win10 64 bit pro.
I have been using Wondershare AllMyTube to download 1080 HD if thats the best res, it offers choices.
Suddenly this last month or so it says Analyzing and never gets any further. It is up to date.
I get the feeling youtube have done something in the background and rendered it defunct.

So what is the best reliable and free of any nasties video downloader now working with whatever YouTube have tried to do ?

I looked on LO4D.com and couldnt see any and that site has progs checked for bugs and nasties and is my go to for such things.

Wise Youtube Downloader did't work at all for me.
My favorite Freeware for downloading videos is TVDownloader.

I use the modified version (Portable) released on 5/19/2024 by Ciber SLasH.
The only drawback to using it is the yt-dlp.exe file has to be updated manually from https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp.

 

I've been using "Easy Youtube Video Downloader" for the last year or so and it seems to work okay for me.

jDownloader2 is my go to. It will download everything, so you need to make a filter for what file(s) you want, or just delete them after.
