what is better for high performnce gaming?

hi people.

i am buying a new pc soon and cant decide between these 2 pc`s, they are essentially the same except for the graphics card (and also the price)
the specs are:

AMD athlon dual core 245 processor (2x2.9 GHz)
4GB ddr2 RAM
500GB hard drive
5.1 surround sound...

but the difference is:
Radeon HD 4770 512MB graphics card
or
NVidia GeForce 7025

I want this pc to run games like warhammer 40k dawn of war 2 at full or near full graphics with no lag. if these arent good enough for that please say so so i dont end up wasting money.

As much as I am a fan of Nvidia over ATI, of the 2 options you have given there, the Nvidia is an onboard gpu and as such will not deliver at anywhere near the level of the Radeon 4770. Either card would be sufficient for running Warhammer 40k, although it would be a close one for the onboard nvidia chip to be able to render full settings. The Radeon will do the trick without a problem.

 

The ATI card, all the way!

As said below, the NV alternative is onboard, and is likely to be pretty bad.

 

In addition to all of this, the ATI card can be upgraded with ease. Onboard adapters cannot.

 

Oh ya, spend the extra bucks on the ATI, it's the hands down winner.

 

I'd get the ATI card but I'm unsure if you will be able to max DOW2. I have a 275 and max at 1680x1050 of DOW2 gets me around 30fps avg on the benchmark.
