What is Better?

trying to figure on better graphics card is better nvidia geforce or ati raedion. i know its some on personal preference but ive only had ati and seen geforce and it performed better but it had 2gb. i have the hd 6570 1gb gddr3 which doesnt compare to my brothers laptop with geforce 745m 2gb ddr3. i am looking around $100 for a gddr5 1gb so far its the gtx750 and the hd 7750. even tho nvidia has cuda and phyisX ati has mantle which i think is only supported in Battlefield 4. so im just trying to get some help on which side i should choose cause it looks like nvidia is faster...

Nvidia is typically better for OSes that are not Windows. Nvidia is also typically better on driver quality.

For the rest, its mostly preference and benchmarks that should steer your decision.

 

So ati is better for pc gaming. anyways heres my specs:
amd athlon II X4 630 @ 2.8 ghz
750gb HDD
8gb ram ddr3 (4gbx2)
and of course the hd 6570 1gb gddr3

dont know about you but that didnt help anyways im goin for the gtx 750 1gb gddr5 seems good for the price range im goin for even though i just saw DX12 will work for hd 7750 and above only. and id need another PSU if i wanted ATIs cards only have a 400w.
