   Attached is scnshot of my XPpro 'Device Manager'.
   'RAS Async Adapter' has a yellow '!' beside it.
   Is RASAA needed for XP ?
   What is it, and can it be deleted/uninstalled if not needed ?

   Boot in plain Safe Mode, run Windows Explorer, and rename (NOT delete) C:\Windows\System32\RAS
   
   I suggest "RAS.BAD".
   
   Reboot, and if it still shows up, reply back.
