What is the difference of XP Home and XP Pro?

I'm getting ready to take an online class, and my teacher wants us to have XP Pro. What's the difference, between the two. I have the xp home version at home now. and for just 90 dollars I can get xp pro, thru the college. Can any body tell me what's what?

Not much but if he says you need it you'll probably use some arcane useless non-backwards compitable feature in it...

Doctorate != intelligence, I know people that skipped high school that are VERY smart and kick people with master who are like 4 years older, all it is is a piece of paper, it doesn't mean you learned anything.

 

LOL....yeah there are a lot of really smart cookies who dropped out of high scool

And, back to the subject, the differences between Xp Home and Pro should have been outlined in my link above.

Lookit, it really don't matter what the difference is (for your class purposes)...what matters is will the prof let you substitute to save money?

The only way to find that out is to ask them what features of XPPro that you'll use that aren't available in XPHome (since you already have a copy). That should lite their shorts on fire!!!!
