what is the largest size ide hard drive for a laptop

what is the largest ide laptop hard drive that is readily available to the public i currently have an 80GB hard drive and want to get a bigger one

100s of GB for desktops, but not sure where they are for laptops.

thanks but i need one for a laptop my desktop has a 500gb ide hard drive my laptop only has an 80 and i would like one that is a lot bigger so i can hold a lot of operating systems i have two on my current hard drive that has two partitions one has xp home and one has xp pro

 

250 GB I believe is the biggest for IDE.
