What is this and how to get rid of it

    Have Troj_generic.DIT

    in file Setup8a.exe C:\windows\inf\

    and A0041585.exe C:\system\volume information\ _restore


    What to do or removal program to use

    Notes:
    • C:\system\volume information is just System Restore. Toggle it off and then back on to remove things in SR.
    • Setup8a.exe - is probably a setup file for your digital camera

    it still shows in virus scan. does it have something to do with why my flash drive doent work anymore also. I bought it new used once then went to use again and it causes a reboot and wont go any farther then reboot screen. it does work on other computers. Still trying to fix the generic troj file....setup8a.exe

    What still shows in virus scan? And what virus scan? I already told you the things you posted about are not problems. Did you disable System Restore to remove the restore points? If so then the same Setup8a.exe is just reappearing in System Restore. If setup8a.exe is for your flash drive ( I assumed a digital camera ) then you should not be deleting this file with your antivirus.

    These are issues you can work in the Software Forum.

    As stated multiple times, it is not a problem.

    got it thanks. just have to figure out why my flash drive causes reboot on laptop but not on other desk tops.
