what is this log

i ran hijack this and there was an entry that had this http://www.fileplanet.com/fpdlmgr/cabs/FPDC_1_0_0_42.cab i went to this site and it just starts to d/load a zip file. i never opened the zip but just deleted it. is there anyone out there with more info.i did google search but not very helpful

 

File planet has a download manager..that's the cab file.. (the install source).

 

do you use file planet to download game patches maps etc, or gamespy, AFAIK its just entry left behind when you've used their services

yes i do get the patches there . so i take it that it can be left alone or delete does it make a difference

 

if you delete it, then FP will prompt for install again. Let it be if you use FP frequently for downloads.
