what is this

i was checking my device magager today i see that there was an anknown with a question mark, so i click on propeties on it and it said that the drivers were not insstalled for that hardware.well i let windows look for it and found it.
now the unknown is this SCSI and RAID controllers. waht the hell is this and waht the hell it does? and now widows says that my pc changed a bit and i have to activate windows again wich is no big deal..

what kind of mother board do you have?

RAID controllers allow you to have multiple hard drives in specific configurations for the purpose of redundancy / backup or performance increases.

 

i hava an ABIT NF7-S v2.0... well i was goin to activate windows again and the damn thing said that my product key was expired. so i had to call the free number and get another one to activate windows..what a pain ont the butt.
