What is wrong with my laptop

OK, I've done a lot of scans, spy bots scans, virus scans etc and nothing seems to be working.

Just in the past couple days my laptop is acting laggy.
Music plays for a couple seconds then loops over and over, typing is slowish, and the mouse moves slow also.
I don't know if there's a program running in the background or what.

The hdd light flashes randomly as if a program is running or something.
Right now I can't click on my start menu/bar because it's frozen!
Help!
