    Hey all,

So I am going to purchase this HD but I was wondering what SATA cord I should get with it?

I have this mobo and I was going to purchase this cord.

Any recommendations, previous good buys, or comments feel free!

    Thanks,

That cord will work just fine. Look around on newegg, you may be able to find something for a few dollars less. This cord is 10", do you need one that long?

It's been my experience that SATA cables with the right-angle connector (like the one linked to above) or more of a pain in the *** than anything unless the HD is over 8 inches from the motherboard. The way most cases and motherboards are built these days, the HD is rarely more than 3 or 4 inches from the SATA headers. The right angle connector forces the cable in a direction that is more inconvenient and usually puts more stress on the cable and headers than does a straight connector. But that's just my thoughts and opinions....
Honestly, any cable will work, it's not really that big of a deal. ;)
