What slogan, etc., have you on your vehicle number plates?

Just noticed this today at the Way Off Base items at today's MG frontpage at www.majorgeeks.com

It was so funny that I had to mention it here.
State offers free replacements for "WTF" plates.

I wonder how many will keep them?

Here in Queensland, Australia, we have a couple of current slogans.
Queensland- The Smart State
and Queensland-The Sunshine State

Most agree with second slogan, but not the first. You can opt out of getting the first slogan, for the second one. :-D

I bought a Vauxhall Carlton automatic once in the UK. It had a standard issue license plate that was F616 LEV :-D

 

They only found out last year? :confused

 

1st I think of 0773H, upside down= HELLO...
But the one that made me fall off my bar stool = TIH2 TA3
I couldn't understand for a long time...
Finally I asked the bartender,
"What's up with that license plate on the wall up there?
It makes no sense to me?"
He said,
"Have a beer and think about it..."
"I'll buy you one if you tell me what's it mean???"
He said...
"Look in the mirror behind you"

(But this week, the DMV officials got another surprise when they learned the same letters appeared on the agency's own Web site on a sample personalized plate. )
Good ole DMV always has been a joke :-D

 

Must be some funny ones from the UK, with their mixed / jumbled combinations of letters and numbers. Any from the UK?

I have a "friend" who lives in UK. His name is Malcolm Rose. He is an Author. Ill ask him.

The coolest thing is: You can even pick a different "year" the plate was made in that province/state.
The "bummer" is: The plates are limited to the US and Canada, I think.

Awww... Thanks Bazza. Good to be back and see you all again as well. Actually I thought the CANADIAN provinces plates were available as on that website as well.

Side Note: BTW Bazza... I know you like the auto time-sync program called Neutron. Just wanted to let you know that the program was recently updated to Neutron 1.07 which includes only a small Vista Related bug fix.

From the Developer's Site: "Version 1.07 Added a message box warning for Vista users if the time couldn't be synchronized due to lack of rights to change the time."

Oh, no worries Bazzaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuupppp... I’ll keep an eye out for you, anytime!

If you type out a list of your favorite freeware proggies; pop it into my MG Private Messages box and I'll keep my eyes peeled for updates. I’m always reviewing various freeware sites looking for newbie developers and/or specialty freeware anyway, so it’s easy enough to look around for your freebie faves while I'm at it.

That Neutron proggie is wonderful - set and forget - and for a 7k proggie, it’s so amazing the developer seems to stay on top of minor bugs that come around the bend and he mends them ASAP.

Side Note to the MG Moderators: Two programs I would like to see added here in the MAJOR GEEKS site. Bazza's beloved Neutron as well as my absolute favorite shareware program Ad Muncher. Some folks on various sites felt a bit betrayed a while back when the Ad Muncher developers went one-payment-one-computer but the problem was that everybody and their brother put the program on the steal-the-shareware illegal downloads websites.

In any case those two would make an excellent addition here.
