What to look for 32 vs 64

    Asus M2N68 PLUS. 400w PS. amd +2 quad core, 2.3ghz(?). pc6400 ddr2 2gb. sata x4. pcie x16. etc. it's a new machine, being placed together not completely up and running.

    Hi

    Your motherboard is OK as it has x64 drivers available from ASUS, the CPU well most from past 2 years or so are x64 compatible, but get CPUZ and give us the full model of CPU.

    If building a power system your 400w PSU is going to run out of power to power any high end GPU quickly.

    Which Windows x64 version are you going to use, Windows XP64, Vista or Windows 7?

    AM2+ AMD Phenom x4 9600 Black Edition Quad-Core, 2.3GHz, 2MB L2/L3

    Would like the move to Win7. The system is a bundle kit, honesly, from Tigerdirect.
