What to Upgrade?

Ok right now Ive got a Phenom X4 9550 and an Nvidia gtx 260 (normal version) and a monitor at 1920x1200. Which upgrade would improve gaming performance more, getting a Phenom II 965 or gtx 275?

How much RAM do you have?

It will depend on which 260 you have as we can see there are 2 differing models:

From there we can see it has the same Memory Interface and increases on the clocks. To be honest apart from bench marks you may not be able to "notice" any actual differences.

I would use the 125W Cpu less power use age and probley throws less heat

This is exactly the same as 955 version. This CPU multiplier is set to 200Mhz x 17

If you already have a Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition you DO NOT NEED TO UPGRADE to 965, basicly you can set your 955 multiplier to 200mhz x 17 (Default is set on 200mhz x 16) on your Bios or overclocking software to gave the same exact 3.4ghz that 965 does.

I don't see the need to upgrade 955 to 965.

If you have not yet got 955 version, feel free to get this one, Is the same price as 955 before it went down by like $50 cuz of this arrival.

Oh, Watch out for the electicity bill, this beast is 140w compare to 955 125W.

Yeah I made a mistake I meant that I have the Phenom 9950 as in the first gen Phenoms. Also I have 4 gigs of RAM in vista 32bit so its a little less than 4 and like before I have the normal version of the gtx 260 no extra shaders.
