What was your Halloween costume?

At my job, they hand out costume awards within the department every Halloween. Funniest, Scariest, Most Original, and The Award That Cannot Be Named In a Work Setting (a.k.a the Sexiest Costume Award). I won the orange ribbon for most original costume this year: I dressed up as Uma Thurman in the first Kill Bill, and even brought in a fake katana to go with the jump suit.

What did everyone else wear?

 

Did not dress this year but last year a cat, year before a witch... kind of non original but we have a creative dept. and they always win. We have a whole day of activities: pumpkin carving, scavenger hunts, costume parades, contests, eat fest and parties but this year due to boss taking day off and having my email address and phone number was too busy to do more that attend say hi and go back to work... but love Halloween.

 

I was a cat last year too! LOL

 

So it seems that my team at the new place I work for like to have fun every Halloween. This is the production they threw together this year. The first group are my employees (for the most part).......the Marshmallow man is my boss. This was filmed in the Customer Service area shortly before we opened this morning.

Some good dancers in your co. and a fun way to start the holiday Lev, did you get marshmallow man to make smores? We had smore spiders and peanut butter eyeballs (everyone tries to outdo ea. other in creepy snacks) Will look and see if we have a pic of the winning costume, it was a Macy's spiderman float.

 

My husband & I dressed up as an old couple this year and went to a Halloween party with friends. We didn't win this year. A few years back we dressed up as an old couple (in different costumes than this year) and no one at the party knew who we were. We won first prize that year!:-D Next year I want to dress up as a fairy, maybe. Those masks are too hot, as my face sweated the whole time!

 

i went as the joker (from the dark knight), it was literally the LAST halloween mask i could find, everywhere else was all sold out

i didnt think i won the award at the workplace, though, someone else dressed up as a KISS member with incredible detail in his costume and facepaint

 

Our Pug, YODA, mr. one-eye, just HAD to wear his Devil-Dog outfit.
He was a riot.

Because it is illegal to carry knives with a blade longer than six inches in a public place in our state, and because work security policy states very clearly employees cannot bring a weapon in to work with them.

This year? I was that hermit. Yes, the one that was following you around, asking for money. And those of you that didn't give it? You know who you are. And so do I...

Kidding. I didn't do anything. I'm currently unemployed, and too old to go trick or treating.

Same here Kestrel, I just went as me. Scared the bejeezus out of everyone!:-D Nah, stayed at home and kept the lights off too just in case there were some munchkins trolling around. If someone did come by, I had some cucumbers w/honey and some homemade coleslaw at the ready.:-D

 

I didn't dress up, either, (though people kept telling me to "take the mask off!"LOL). But just to show I'm not a complete Halloween grouch, - some little witch and a skeleton came a-knocking on my door and I gave the witch a can of asparagus and the skeleton a can of oysters. They looked pretty disappointed and cheated, but took the stuff anyway - go figure.
I did notice they headed back home and didn’t knock on any more doors. Maybe they couldn’t wait to eat their ‘treats’.:-D

 

I hope the oysters were at least smoked.:yum You big old meanie!:-D

All weekend I was unable to get it out of my head - they totally blew my mind. It is amazing how successful people can be with the right motivation behind them
