Lovely sunny morning, :) Thought I’d better get on with things before I go in for my op; :( so I started to clear up the winter debris, Sprayed the greenhouse. Sewed some Cherry Tomatoes and some Busy Lizzys. Hope the frost stays away. Love to know what everybody’s up to.

I was on the train from Brighton this morning and couldn't see any clouds! Fantastic weather so far, definitely thinking of taking a trip to Old Portsmouth for some photography!

The Garden I do each year is still under some snow. I don't think Ill be able to get to it for a little while. Even tho the last 2 days have been warm.

Hi Tony, my garden is nice and clear {NO SNOW!} LOL I am just waiting for the cool nights to warm up . Too early for me to plant tomatoes.. Yeah, I am itchy too :-D Right now, my African Violets are blooming real nice tho. :) The Hoya is growing, but no buds on it yet.

Our winter here, has broken a record : warmest winter on record... NICE!:)

So, right now, just waiting patiently for Spring ;)

our garden went to pot, but we have bought alot of seeds ready to plant soon. Might be a little wild and unorganised but I kinda like that idea :)

Most of my garden is limp and shriveled or dead, (like I feel, LOL), except for native plants, as is normal for the end of summer. The second official day of Fall in these parts. I suppose I should be grateful it's only 37 deg. C instead of 42+, today.

Depends on when, and who ya been talking to . . . :innocent

Actually, our garden looks as dead as Nero's liver . . . but since it is now March it should be showing signs of life soon.

I say "our" garden a bit tongue-in-cheek, as the whole thing is pretty much my wife's bailiwick. My contribution is limited to hefting heavy bags and digging holes where indicated . . . :-D A green thumb I am not.

She does a wonderful job - I wish I had some pictures uploaded to show you.

Phantom, your seasons don't coincide with ours? We have a couple more weeks of winter yet. I thought it had to do with the Equinox everywhere.

I think Phantom might be in a different hemisphere than you and me... ;)

Ya, I'm in the bottom part of the world LOL. @ Sibeer:- Yeah, that's what confused me when we came over here. Usually the fist day of spring for the U.K/U.S. is 21st of March, I.I.R.C. Okay, so we're down under - so that means it's Autumn, I get that bit. But then, apparently they go by the first day of the month, (1st of March):confused.

Springs just around the corner here, Crocus and snowdrops in bloom, loads of buds on Camilla, Daffodils poking through and as usual the weeds just like Geordies :p are a bloody pest. :-D

    Nice pics Kestrel!

And such a well manicured lawn on top of it.

You must spend a fair amount of time tending to your beauties.

My mother had lupins all over her garden as I grew up... thanks for the reminder of pleasant, long-gone memories. :)

Lovely summer flowers, Kes. Pretty cold and wet in this part of the world. Plenty of green around, but mainly just winter weeds.
