What!?

    I'm having problems with my computer, mainly Spy/Ad-ware. On my taskbar, a Yellow Triangle shows up with an exclamation mark, and occasionally two windows show up, either ULwindow(?.) Pop-ups and such pop-up, and when I go on Firefox, everything is normal. On IE, however, it leads to a page that proclaims, "Your Computer is Vulnerable to (Hackers and such)" and it displays my IP, the server im on, SP pack, and the type of windows I have. Also, a folder pops-up named, "System2" or something like that.

    And, A Green Wheelchair and a Red Cancel sign and such are locked onto my taskbar, and then a red window shows on my screen, and it says "Your computer is infected! Protect your Computer from Malware, using Anitmalware products. Click here to get all available antivirus!"
    And when I click it, it leads to Spyware Quake.
    Note: I got rid of this, but the pop-ups remain.

    I ran Spybot, Norton Antivirus, and right now I'm stumped on how to remove the rest of the Spy/Ware adware.

    How can I get rid of it? :confused:

    Did you run through this guide SpywareQuake & SpyFalcon Removal Procedure if not do so, then run through all of the below guide and "attach" the logs requested.

    Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.


    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis


    When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
    • Bitdefender
    • Panda Scan
    • HijackThis

    Hmmm... I've already tried following SpywareQuake/Falcon removal, but when I go into the Folder, none of those files are there?
