Whats a good asking price for a super bowl coin?

My mother wants to try and sell a 1972 Super Bowl Coin It has the Cowboys and Dolphins on it. This is what it says on the front. On the top half it says "January 16, 1972 * Tulane Stadium, New Orleans" and on the bottom half it says "Dallas Cowboys 24, Miami Dolphine 3" On the back the top says "Super Bowl VI" on the bottom it says "National Football League Championship" and in the middle under the helmets and trophy it says "AFC Champion, The Vince Lombardi trophy, NFC champion" Its a nice looking coin and it was bought by a family friend at the 72 super bowl so i know its a real one.

I would suggest having a look on Ebay for any similar coins on sale

Had a quick look and there are a few listed for different years. May also be worth emailing a few local coin collectors just to get an idea of its' worth.

I think Sports collectors would be better to ask than coin collectors Thanks for the help.

 

If the coin was purchased from a vendor at the stadium than it really is not worth anything other than the cost. I have seen simmilar coins go for $5 - $10.

If it was used on the field during the game that might be another story.
