What's a good way to share files?

I've got two sound files, wav's, that are 4mb and 7mb, respectively, and want to make them available to persons on a particular forum. What is a good way to accomplish this? Just a link or something and they can download it. I'm not sure if I can upload it to the forum.

I've seen yousendit, but it only lasts for like 5 days, and I want this to be available for a while. Thanks for any help.

 

the easiest way is to get a website and upload it. that's what i typically do for this sort of thing. why don't you try encoding it to MP3 or OGG or something like that? i'm sure that'll shrink it enough so you can use something simple like geocities.

 

Yeah, I hadn't thought of compressing it. I guess I could flac it. I need it lossless so people can mix it into music. thx.

Try getting some other web hosting.

Does your ISP provide any web hosting? Mine provides about 50MB.

I've found www.rapidshare.de to be a pretty good site for uploading files. Its free too, it works kind of like youshareit but no need for an email address and lasts longer.
