What's for breakfast?

All I have are baked lays and salsa con queso (spicy cheese dip) hey, some people don't know that! Oh and pepsi... otherwise known as life's blood. Breakfast of champions. Anyone got anything better? Like maybe french toast? i love me some french toast.

This morning (afternoon actually; I slept in) was Crispix & a banana.

Tomorrow morning will be eggs and hotcakes. My Sunday morning favorite.

Son and I will go to local American Legion for breakfast in morning, Biscuits and gravy, Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast and milk+ cofee, .....all for about 8 bucks for both of us ...GOOD EATS!!!!!!

 

Havn't really slept, but just had a cup of coffee and a cigarette...thats the breakfast of champions........

 

I don't do cereals.. except for more recently.. *achooo* some kind of oat and nut cluster thingie with chocolate bits mmmm

Breakfast used to consist of coffee and a smoke, since I quit smoking though, I'm down to just coffee....I need another vice.

For Lunch, an Air freshner.

 

I often eat dinner leftovers. I like to have protein, and eating eggs every morning isn't an option.

 

Breakfast...If I could eat breakfast all day I would.

It's actually my favorite part of the day.

First I will make homemade all-wheat pancakes, peameal bacon. Scrambled eggs or poached. Orange Juice, blueberries and honey with whipped cream on the pancakes, and a good espresso.

Or I will make poached eggs with hollandise sauce, bacon, toast with honey and butter. And yogurt with blueberries and rasberries and granola - almond. And espresso.

Or omelette with ham ; spinach ; cheddar cheese, on a bun melted cheese on top. And espresso.

Yes we love breakfast at our home..even plain crepes with good peaches and their syrup.

 

Vodka . . . on a bad day coffee and vodka . . . just kidding! I work first shift (midnights for those non-military folks) so my evening begins at 07:30 (a.m.). What "normal" folks call breakfast I call "eat something and go to bed now, so you will be awake for the wife when she gets home at 16:00 (4 p.m.) or so."
I eat odd things, at odd times . . . it's all good . . .

 

Typical work-day breakfast: Kellogg's Nutrigrain bar, banana, coffee, while at work.

Breakfast is for weekends.

 

Spent the morning running crazily round town doing various chores, so breakfast didn;t happen until nearly 11 am.....plain toasted bagel and a bar of Cadbury's Fruit & Nut...HAHA!

 

Eat a PROPER breakfast:

4 rashers of bacon, 2 sausages, 2 fried eggs, 3 hash browns, baked beans, black pudding, mushrooms, toast, orange juice and lots of fresh coffee....delish!!!

 

Heyyy!!! I spent 38 years eating breakfasts the UK way. Now I'm in the US I'll do it that way

As for black pudding...that is waste product, not food! *pukes quietly in corner*

All this reminds me of the saying about an Australian swagman's (hobo) breakfast.

"A quick p*ss and a good look around". Substitute an "i" for the *, if you don't know already.

Me, being a true blue Aussie, have Weatbix for brekky. Now topped with one of the varieties of health mixes and a chopped up banana. Can't stand coffee, so a cuppa tea is usually on the menu, when time permits. It is 5.11am here, right now, and I had a very early brekky, after listening to the Aussies beat Bangladesh in the one day cricket round robin in England. The Poms are next, in the final on Saturday, to get a hiding. Bazza

 

Wow, we need some excitement around here if a breakfast thread has been running for 3 days. even is it was ME who started it

 

I guess that's one thing we all have in common . . . everybodys gotta eat!
