What's up kiddies?

Been on hiatus a while, being as I've been insanely busy, so I thought I would check in and send some love. How's everyone?

I'm still working for Turbotax as technical support. Let me tell you? Yuck. I mean I get one person a day who wants to sing my praises to my boss, at least, so I'm good at it, but I hate it. I just... do. Some of my customers are probably kicking around though, I send about 30 a week here because their major TECHNICAL malfunction is spyware or driver related.

Other than that, Kay finally has a new doctor. He's going right for the money, and April 27th when my job ends, Kay goes under the knife and loses the tonsils, the adnoids again (they apparently grew back) gets the ears scraped dry and new tubes, and then they send the muck in the back away for analysis and pray they find something.

If they dont, it means we have to X-ray Kay's face, because likely her problem is not chronic otitis, it's chronic sinusitis - meaning she has sinusitus and that they are malformed and draining the wrong way - meaning they're going ot put a drill in my baby's FACE. *shudder* pray they find something in the ears.

So the last week of june, I move to Cortland to start my life over and leave all the old crap behind. So we have to have a geekfest by then, because I wont be able to see any of you again unless you either come see me or I can finally afford a car. I'm ecited, but all my well laid plans for a thick cushion kinda fell, and I only have $5000 to leave with. But hey, I'll make it

So after April 15th you might see me more until the move, then it boild down to whenever I can afford the net to go back in. But I wanted to send you all some love.

What a great pic of Kay - beautiful daughter you have there. Prayers are with you and Kay for her surgery. I've had my adenoids taken out twice when was a kid .... loved the ice cream

 

Kay can't have icecream, she's hypo-glycemic (sp?) Sugar-free popsicles. How boring. But we're both going to be stuck in the house for a week. Bleah...

 

Well, its good that you are both "in the solution" about this, Wenchie! It takes action to get to the bottom of things! Sounds exciting about the move and all, too. May take a while to get settled in, but, that phase passes, doesn't it?

That is one cute little girl there! Yessir!

Me, I'm about 2/3 of the way through the C programming book, getting a good look at it, and, I am moving all my web pages to a different host. This time I wanna make all the hyperlinks relative links, those that can be. (You live, you learn).

Yeah, I think that's great that the doctoring has started in earnest, Wenchie. That's what it takes.

Hey nada.. Sorry to hear about Kay having to get surgery, but I'm sure she'll be better off afterwards.
I'm good for a geekfest after april 15th, Mon, wed and thursday nights.

 

I'm good whenever, but ihave a built in sitter on tuesday. She'll be fine, she already had her adenoids out once, and she was chasing my sister 3 hours later...

 

she's a tough cookie for sure gee.. wonder where she gets that from..lol

I have class Tuesday until 10:30 pm.

Cortland is 10 miles east of Jesus 20 miles down the road t nowhere.

It's smack dab in the middle of noplace about 30 miles south. It's one big suburb noplace near a city. Thats why i want to go there.

 

Do you have a job and housing lined up there already? Your description of it sounds fairly grim. What's the attraction there?

Hey Wenchie! Good to see you're thinking positive, and things are hopefully looking up. Kay is definatley > cute Or "ubercute". Or somthing Lets hope that your new doctor gets things sorted for her.

Not spoken to you on AIM in ages, I've been busy too, I hardly even get on MSN, let alone AIM (which isn't even installed right now).

I go down after my job ends on weekends to line up housing and a job. The attraction is exactly that, theres nothing out there. I've developed an acute distate for large quantities of people and noise, and I need to be away from it for a while. My father is also there and intends to offer emotional support and help with Kahlyn wich is somthing I've been up to now sorely lacking.

I also get far away from certain people who I need to be far away from.

 

Sounds like a plan.
