Whats Up with my computer.

The better part of the day spent getting through 1-6. Last night, Norton IS gave me a message that boot.inx was trying to access the internet. I blocked it many times. Went home came back this AM, had the same problem, e-mail stopped sending and receiving, all okay at HQ. The PC will not shutdown, it locks up. I have completed the process exactly as described and herewith attach HJT and bitdefender results and adaware results. Your help figuring this out would be greatfully appreciated.

 

Okay, my apologies for not saving the file correctly. It is now attached again with the others. Your help appreciated. Outlook worked today. Additionally, Panda came up with no errors.

 

Whats Up with my Computer Part II

Sorry, to start a new thread. Attached are HJT Report, AdAware report and NEW BD Report. As previously mentioned, I had a file boot.inx that was trying to launch when this all started. I have completed items 1-7. My computer seems to be acting normally. Am I okay?

The program "Spyware cleaner" is not shown as a program in the ad/remove list. Ill go through and perform the other operations.

When this started, I wrote down the server the virus was trying to connect to, this was the address as you noted.

Again, Ill run through the steps as outlined.

Okay, ran through the step as outlined.
1) Spyware Cleaner -Rogue, not found in Add/Remove Programs
2) Deleted 4 items as noted using Hijackthis.
3) Ran Fixawareout, it prompted to run hijack this and not save log, done
4) Fixawareout next prompted to provide Report.txt to you. No report was generated.
5) Hijackthis again.
6) Attached recent HJT report.

There was not a "Spyware Cleaner" program file. I searched all files and folders and found nothing. Perhaps it was a temp file deleted in a previous cleaning process.

I did find the FixWareout report and it is attached.

Should I create a new system restore point?

My computer is operating "normally".
