Awesome.!!. I did the four points back in 1986...most southerly being The Lizard and most Easterly being Folkestone...nice placard announcing it on the back of the chimneys at the Bird's Eye factory. Did it in 2 weeks with all the camping gear and only ran out of gas once in the middle of nowhere in the Lake District

    Woooo nice Solange!!

My step-daughter-to-be just bought a snowmobile last night. Can't wait to get back over there and go for a spin with her! Used to motobikes so this should be awesome (and a lot softer when I fall off)

Gold Wings are good bikes. My last bike (the one I broke my neck on) was a '96 Harley FXD- I did a few things to it (thrown in jail one day, clocked at 135 mph). Sorry, can't post pics- I was in a Club (not in any more), and I won't show anything with Club insignia (like the paint job!). It was sweet; called it my Gangsta Ride (current car=POS, you know, piece of sh...)

@newgroove - what is it like to drive performance wise? I'm looking at SL2 for when I get out to Oregon next month. They are supposed to be the best of the Saturns.

My wife had an '02 L200. It was a great car for the most part. No troubles. Back in Feb it got slammed by a bigass FedEx truck and was totalled. The driver of the truck got out to check his cargo, but never even went over to check if my wife and our two year old were OK. The car spun off of a tree and landed in a ditch. The guy never even looked their way. My wife was stuck in the car and had to wait for the cops to get her out. I swear, I would have kicked that guys ass for not being one bit concerned about the people who he just creamed after running a stop sign. He was probably more worried about getting in trouble with his boss.

We were both really upset when it happened, and my wife has some nerve damage in her arm that causes her all kinds of troubles.

Now shes trying to decide between a silver or black H2 ;)

    Thanks FedEx, F-you!

Yeah, my son is fine. He was a bit shook up, but at that age they get over things real quick! He probably forgot all about it the next day.

My wife has nerve damage in her right arm and has limited to almost no use of certain fingers. We went to see a hand specialist downtown who recommended surgery, but we she is a little hesitant.

The kicker is that FedEx's insurance refused to pay for anything. I had to pay for the $500 deductible to our insurance for the Saturn, the tow truck and a new car seat for my son...all out of my own pocket! They wouldn't even reimburse me, so we had to get a lawyer.

I'm not the suing type. I think that there are way to many frivolous law suites nowadays, but that drivers attitude and total lack of caring just pissed me off so far beyond words!

Nerve damage is a scary thing to try and fix, hit and miss if ya ask me

And i here ya on the suing thing, but this is a case to make a point also, it's just too bad the lawyers are goona make about as much as you, but ya gotta take care of your own,no matter what

Thanks! But 'fraid not, got rear-ended on the Bay Bridge a couple weeks ago and it's in the body shop. Actually, works out well for me because the rear bumper cover needed to be painted and they're going to paint the chrome bumper trim for me.. muahaha..

Hehe.. actually I've already got it reserved for a road trip as soon as I get it back... Piece of junk Mazda rental has made me miss my VW even more than I expected. Mine is chipped, too, so it's really a drag driving around with no power... not to mention no MUSIC!

  36. scorcer

Thats cool, I was just bustin balls anyway ;)

But if ya want power either my GSX 600 or ZX 7 Ninja will give ya the crazy ride ;)

:( but the music part is not too doable, although Megadeth at 140mph is a cool thing, just tough to get it loud enough :)
