What's your guess? Grand-baby # 7 is almost here!!!

My daughters Dr. pulled her out of work in January as she was already having contractions and what not...she's now been taken off bed rest as her original due date is the end of next week. She's been to the hospital twice already but her labor stopped....Anyone want to take a guess at birth weight, time....day...length or any of the above?

 

An Easter baby - Sun March 27 @10:05am weighing in at 7lbs 3 oz. and 15 in. in length. (I have no idea if the length and width are proportional to each other or not just a guess). What does the winner get? ... and congratulations

 

April 1st, Just to be funt. Number 7, but number what for mom? then I'll guess weight n length

 

@ Ken...I'm still working on the prize And thanks I'm so excited but sad at the same time...this will be the first time I won't be in the delivery room with her It would be wonderful blessing to have him born on Easter Sunday...that is the day one of my granddaughters passed away.

@ Wenchie...this will be her 4th. Her first was the smallest at 7lbs. 6oz., her second (who was early) was over 8lbs., her third was just under 8lbs. and right on schedule. Her actual due date is April 1st.

Chris just gave me his guess....the baby will be born in November and will weigh 68lbs! *THUD*

 

I'm gonna guess 8lbs 5oz and 22 inches with a 14 inche head. Cus thats what Kay was.

 

Boy: 8lbs 12oz 22 1/2 inches long
Girl: 7lbs 6 oz 18 3/4 inches long

 

No guess. Just hopeless at that sort of thing, and no attempt at false flattery or anything else uncouth, but no way you're a grandmother from your pic!!

 

Oops..thought I already said this but I didn't...it's a boy.


@ Halo...if there are is any blonde hair or blue eyes I'll be in a state of shock! LOL My daughter has dark brown hair with brown eyes (like her father) and Dad to be has brown eyes and black hair.

Now my son is another story..he's strawberry blonde with my green eyes and his 3 kids so far have his coloring...Hailey & Joshua are blonde with blue eyes and Kadinz has the strawberry blond hair..I haven't seen her yet so I'm not sure what color her eyes are...can't tell in her pictures.

Granny *gasp* lol isn't tired yet..just bouncing off the walls..

 

hahahaha! Thanks...but yes I am...that pic was taken here in my living room about a year and a half ago..I don't look much different except for my hair is a lot longer....until I take the scissors to it again any way

And ya don't have to be good at guessing...the fun is in who gets the closet...I think Chris is at the bottom of the list so far.... lol

eight pounds 7 ounces, weight at splash down....born @ 0037 28 March 2005.....and 20 and one \ half inches...........wobbles

My guess is 6 lbs. 10 oz.....19 inches March 26 4:30 am

Don't ask why. Just a combination of my kids.

As for the bouncing off the walls, are you having the "cleaning' frenzy most mothers get before giving birth? As the Grandma......

 

My guess is 7 lbs. 10 oz. and 20 in. and he'll show up on the 28th.

He'll show up when he's good & ready. If he's got some of Abby's blood, he'll likely be a cute baby, and as long as he's got the proper number of toes, fingers, noses, etc., what else matters?

my guess. It will be a baby human, it will will weigh somewhere between 4 and 8 pounds, it will be either boy or a girl, it will have 2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 nose, 2 hands and 2 feet, and it will be born on a day ending in 'Y'....


BTW, Congrats to you ABBY...and of course Chris also...Godbless you...lucky number 7...

I'm going to say 5:45 am, March 28. A blonde headed and blue eyed baby boy weighing 8 lbs. 6 0zs. Parents skin features may not mean that much, as both my parents were dark haired, but I was born blonde headed and blue eyed, and stayed that way until I was five years old. Then my hair turned brown and my eyes green. Best wishes, and keep everyone posted!

As I was replying to this I got a call!! She's in the hospital! Labor is real hard and she's at 6cm, water hasn't broke yet and they had to start her on a IV...she's not been feeling well and is a little warm The kids have been sick so she's most likely got a touch of what they have.

Keeping my fingers crossed things will move along quickly and all will be well...her last labor/delivery took 28 hours, more than double what it was with the first 2.

 

The baby is 7lbs. 9oz., 22 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great. She's pretty tired but says all her heartburn is once again explained..the baby was born with a head full of dark hair! LOL

ACK! Just realized I didn't get the time of birth *thud* Have to ask her when I talk to her tomorrow.

 

Congrats to all involved, or at least all that were sweating and chewing fingernails.
