Thanks for posting the analogy, SixShooter. Is yours correct? With mine, I'm not so sure about the "Linguist" part because my vocabulary sucks, but visually and spatially I'm not so bad. I was decent with Geometry and Engineering Graphics....

It seems to coincide with tests I've taken in the past. I use to have a bad habit of using "ten dollar" words in a conversation resulting in a confusion response or asking to translate to simpler terms. The plus side is that my children exhibit quite an extensive vocabulary and actually know the meanings of behind those big words....

 

A-ha! I know people like you! You all send me running to the thesaurus every few hours on the message boards. (Learning is always a good thing though and especially when you can pass it on to children.)

nah...if i were to take a real IQ test, then maybe. but i'm not going to take anything online...especially when I don't believe anything I read online in the first place.

 

I notice I also use longer and longer words the angrier I get. No one in my family knows where I got it, that's not how either of my parents or any of my sisters are, it just happens. And woe to the person who asks me for a translation if I'm already angry.

 

ahhhh u got to love photoshop! Truthfully i have taken a test from chicago university and got a 161. I have taken some internet tests and scored somewhere between 148-160.

Holy cow I have a formula, but where the hey do you get it from. Your ancestors, your environment, eating the right food as an itty bitty one.....is there a consensus somewhere out there.......

I didn't take the any of the tests posted here, but at Cambridge University I think I came out at 156 or something.

The only results that really counted were for my Chem/Physics Major PhD.

Not that even that means a whole lot to me nowadays. My qualifications and stuff are still in the crates in the closet somewhere from when I moved, LoL!. It did enable me to follow my careers of choice, and some pretty decent jobs, though.

 

ok well i went to that iq test thing and also to that other one scorelogix and got 178 on tickle and 182 on scorlogix ha ha im a genius well who gives a flying wah ho anyhow. i smoke more pot than marley and drink more than a fish when i was younger i had a very fun time in school i delt acid and coke to half the teachers and student body probly why i never got xpelled i know. ex whatever my great glorious life now consists of spending a major part of the day playing call of duty united offensive and medal of honor spearhead. the rest of the time i smoke joints and drive a tow truck for AAA hahahahahaha well since my doc said it would help with lower back pain killer im legal in CA. but all kidding aside i find IQs to be as fundimental as age; heres what i mean..... you feel sick and tired you go to a Dr. he tells you that you are as healthy as a 50 year old well you are 30 another time you go feeling perfect he tells ya you are as fit as a 20 year old well break down.....
are you an old fart or a whipper snapper. who cares, live each day as if you are going to die tomorrow and learn each day as you will live forever. in between that time live your life and let the drones worry about iqs and ages.

I'm exercising my mind right now. I'm wondering if a burn out, such as yourself, who laughs at the fact that he was a dealer, smokes pot and drives a truck for AAA should really be spouting any form of philosophy to anyone...ever. If you want to excercise your mind, ponder what you could've done with your life if you were not benefitting from the vices of others.
