When Attempting To Open F.E.A.R. I Get An Error Message

I've just installed F.E.A.R. on my PC but when I double click the F.E.A.R. icon I get the following error message:

Now I'm just wondering what it could be as all my other games are fine and work perfectly but this just won't even load up. I'm pretty sure it's not to do with my PC Specs as if it was the game would still load up wouldn't it but then just not run very well ingame. I should be able to get to the main menu at least.

What did you do to fix this issue?

The reason I asked this, is perhaps one day, someone will come here, with exactly that error. So, you could help a future user of Majorgeeks!

 

I just reinstalled the game. Quite simple really, I should have thought about it in the first place haha
