When i play a game my cpu usage goes to 100% and stays for a while

I have xp home edition SP2 and i run zone alarm pro 5 as my firewall and i run Etrust as my antivirus. Ok here is the problem.
My computer runs fine until i start up a game. Like ill be playing Flight Sim. 2004 and ill take off it will be running fine then it will stop for about 2 min. and u can't do a thing then it will go back to normal and then the same thing keeps happining. It is getting on my nerves Please help

 

it mite help but maybe not..uninstall sp2...it doesnt help neways

ususally when you paly a game, you SHOULD turn off all background programs. AV, ZA, are such. No ions on screen and no minimized browsers.

Make sure your sawp size matches recomended. 1.5xmemory minimum. I have 768 MB I use 1150 min swp and 2x thatfor max.set them then Reboot.
you can set this by going mycomputer icon, right click, advanced tab, performance, advance and set the amount you need under programs. Be sure to click set afterwards and then ok, ok, and reboot.


Hope this helps. As for SP2, put it back in. you need this to minimized risks.

Thanks For Your Help Every One But My System Soon Crashed After My Post I have Fully Erased My Computer And Gone Back To The Main Way I Recieved My Computer In And It All Runs Fine

 

sp2 or no...he doesnt need i...if hes got virus protection and updates he doesnt need it its just a gay thing it messes up lotsa comps
