When I run Ad-Aware the same infections keep coming up

Just recently I was searching for something related to a Jerry Springer clip (never again) on the internet and a spyware program lodged itself on my computer telling me I had problems. It was named antispyware something, and I managed to get rid of that annoying icon flashing constantly on my bottom bar, but I don't know if it gave me problems because ever since then every time I run Ad-Aware it finds the same infections. I think I delete them but next time I run Ad-aware they are there again. This has been going on for a week now and I know my computer has sort of slowed up. I have tried a few malware remover programs including Spyware Doctor but they come back again.

Spyware Doctor keeps bringing the same things up as well.

Right now the entries in my Ad-aware say:

    Family Category TAI
    Adware.BHO (generic) $(in red) Adaware 3
    Registry entry: Root HKCR Path:interface
Registry entry: Root HKCR Path:type lib\{....

Each time they ask me if I want to delete and I chck them and say yes, but they come up again next time. What am I doing wrong? Please?

I have read a thread on here regarding BHO (generic) but can't make head or tail of it.

Are these anti spyware, malware removers just as bad as the spyware itself? I hate to keep downloading stuff to try and remove the malware, and then when it doesn't work remove it from the registry, add/remove programs, etc.
Any help in getting this to go away forever would be greatly appreciatd and I will never look for Jerry Springer stuff d/loads again.

    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

If the copy of Spyware Doctor that you installed is not a paid version that actually removes malware then uninstall it now.

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
