Great photos and cute young lassie there, Grumbles. I remember when snow was fun, like that. Times change, but the pleasure of children is eternal. :)

Oh that brings back so many memories with our kids. We made the mistake of letting the dog pull her on the sled. He shot off like a rocket & our Daughter did a 360 & fortunately landed on her butt. That was the end of the sleigh ride for a couple of days. Your Daughter sure is adorable, what a sweetie. I used that same excuse for my kid’s good looks.

I wish I could say the same at this moment. In Edmonton it’s 5:20 am & we’re hovering at -38 C. We just had a huge snow storm 2 days ago & the wind finally calmed down this morning. We had a wind chill of -46 C yesterday. There will be no sledding today. I can’t remember the last time it was this cold. I would hate to live in Inuvik where this is common occurrence. At least it will slowly warm up to -16 C by Friday.

-16 C was supposed to be Friday's high but now it might only hit -20 C for a high. They said this morning it was -46 C just outside the city. It’s great you step outside of your house in the morning & the first 2 breaths your lungs want to reject the air coming in, like water going down the wrong tube, but I guess you have to breathe. It ain’t pretty let me tell ya.

I haven't been tobogganing since my kids were little. That looks like green grass under that little bit of snow Grumbles. You must be living right. We're not as cold as Bear, here in Cranbrook, we've been around -21C overnight with snow every day up to -12C. We're somewhat lucky here that we don't get a lot of wind when it's cold.
