According to the results I'm from either Montgomery, Washington DC or Baltimore. :-D

Well, this map shocks me not in the least, although the specific cities do (San Antonio, Columbus, Montgomery). I may have only ever lived in Michigan, but I've spent an awful lot of time on the Gulf Coast and California. LOL

I've never even heard of Montgomery.

I figured since mine came out in my own city, it would be pretty close for everyone.

@ Em...those are great cities (well, at least DC and Baltimore...Montgomery, I have no idea)!

@ Beth....my map is the total opposite of yours. Its all red in a very small circle around Philly and totally blue everywhere else. I guess our dialect is pretty distinctive?

I grew up in Indiana, lived in Mobile, AL for almost 15 years and have spent the last seven living in Houston, TX.

Would you believe I got Albuquerque, NM and Scottsdale, AZ?

Me neither - especially since I have never been to either state. rolleyes The areas I did/do live in were all the "less likely" blue shades.

apparently the quiz thinks I'm from Newark/Yonkers based on my answers, which is funny becuase it's 2 places I haven't even been remotely near. So I'm not sure how that works :p

Pegged me as a little north of Baton Rouge, West of Vicksburg Miss, and East of Shreveport. And that is where I am from. :-D

Got me on Mars, knew I was weird but a chocolate bar I dunno, or is it the planet!

Interesting how science can predict where we come from, as I'm an anomaly as I come from Liverpool as my home town but if you hear me speak you will not know as its no descript or as some say "posh scouse" I find it fascinating that many do not think I come from Liverpool as the stereo typical accent is made up and false and not true scouse.... I'm a creation of muti-cultural family as they are from the globe and accent I have is more general, i'd say, but what I know.

I think accents and lingo is a local thing as it can be very different per community in the same city area.

1 out of three isn't bad.

It guessed two cities in Arizona. Just wrong and weird...

But it hammered my birthplace and where I grew up --- Milwaukee, WI.

    Count me impressed.
