LOL...or maybe I'm just not intelligent enough to realize that this is Hell on Earth, and I'm roasting in it.


There used to be oodles of Arizonans here, but a soap opera of a skirmish took place a while back, and they vacated the board.

Long story not worth repeating, but I swear, I'm not the only one!

 

I doubt my house exists in any sattelite photo on the net. I mean, come on. How many sattelite photos have you seen of the fiery pits of Hell?

 

All you got to do is got to the satellite part of it, and zoom in on the area you wish to see!!!!

It's up in the upper right hand corner...there is three buttons...one of them is satellite!!

True. But I live in an area for which they do not have satellite images yet. Which is interesting, since I've seen it on other sites.

 

From Kent to Hawaii, I bet thats a move you haven't regretted!

 

not for a minute. (although i do miss people, pubs, and live music)

 

that satelite picture doesn't go down far enough to see my house. neither the one in hawi, (although there is a white blob that might be mine) nor my old house in kent.

The people that can't see their place on the satellite, try Google Earth.

Amazing the detail they can see from space.

 

Google Earth is cool, but check the PC and internet connection requirements before going to the trouble of downloading the software. Old PCs and slow speed connections are insufficient to run this.

Actually, I've run Google Earth on a Penium II 333 MHZ and a lowly 28.8 kbs connection and it works great and runs fast.

It's obviously better suited to later hardware, but that shouldn't stop anyone.

I've looked at Google Earth and also the NASA program (Whirlwind??) and the satellite views are the same for my area. Some fully zoom and some don't.

 

When i finally put me on the map i realised how lonely it is out here!

had fun with google. still couldn't see my house, but hawaii is fairly fascinating in 3D. just love it.

 

Hawaii is fascinating, (period/full stop)! I wish I lived somewhere like that!
What do you see when you look out of your window?
I see rain (most of the time) and lots of old terraced houses!

 

i see the sea. lol. on a clear day i have a good view of maui. i see the sunset in the summer. i see the whales playing in the winter. there is nowhere on this island that doesn't have an ocean view, due to the fact that its just a big mountain in the middle of the sea. there is nowhere here that is not beautiful, even on a stormy day.
