This is, I feel, a ridiculous question to have to ask, but I'm trying to locate a file download that timed out, and googling for help has only made me intensely frustrated!

I looked in the temporary internet files folder, but this file was ~230mb, and the connection got loast around ~210mb. I know I should have been using my download manger, but I wasn't. I really don't want to have to re-download the file again if I can just alter the extention and get the 90% that I already downloaded.

the thing is - I can't find where the F#@% the incomplete file is, and trying to search for what happens to them is making me insane!!! can anybody shed some light on this for me??

Also, I forgot to mention that i was using IE7 to download it (first and biggest mistake) and the destination was the desktop.
