Ok the other day I tried to log on to the internet with my HP dv6000 and it did not work. it seems that it did not see my router, so I checked to make sure everything was plugged in and had power which it did. next I went to see if I could use a a very old laptop that I have and it saw the router, this told me that it had to be my computer. at first I thought that it was a hardware issue, so I tried to go to HP wireless manager to see if I could use the program to troubleshoot it. when I tried to open it, I get an hourglass for a half a second and then nothing. this should work no matter what the status of that the card. I now believe that I have some sort of virus as I removed and reinstalled hp wireless manager and nothing. would someone please help me with this. I have attached the logs that you ask for. root repeal keeps getting hung up and I get an error so I skipped it as directed.
thank you in advance for all the help.

Not seeing anything malware related in your logs, however there are some items we can address, any OTHER problems you are having regarding wireless will have to be worked out in the networking/software forum.

    1. Please go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall the following software:

    • Java(TM) 6 Update 13

    2. If you do not use Windows Messenger Run this Disable/Remove Windows Messenger to remove Windows Messenger. Do not confuse Windows Messenger with MSN Messenger because they are not the same. Windows Messenger is a frequent cause of popups.

    3. Malware Bytes needs updating. Please open up the program > let it update > run another scan > and attach the log it creates into your next reply. (I am not expecting it to find any malware but all bases must be covered before I give you final steps and all clear.

    4. Important Notice: A new version of SUPERAntiSpyware is available.
    • Please uninstall your current version (this is necessary).
    • Then download this SUPERAntiSpyware
    • Install this new version. It may tell you that you need to reboot to complete the installation. You must reboot at this time.
    • After the reboot, run SUPERAntiSpyware and immediately click the Check for Updates button to get more updates for the database.
    • Now run a new full scan of your system. And attach this log later.

    5. Now use Windows Explorer to find and delete the below bold file:

    • C:\Program Files\temp01

    6. Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

    7. Now reboot your machine and install the most current and up to date version of Java available here at the below link:

    Java Runtime 6

    8. Attach the logs from running MBAM and SAS. Then no doubt I can give you final instructions.
