Where in Vista?

    I need to find the Search function in Vista Home Premium but not having any luck.
    Where did they hide it?

    Hey hrlow

    You just hit your start button and it's the blank field just above it (probably right under All Programs).

    Lack of coffee will do that. I think the other problem is MS actually made it easier for us. We aren't used to having it right there for our convenience.LOL

    For the full Search page (with all the different Search options) hit your Windows key and F. And for an Advanced Search, go to the upper right-hand corner of the full Search page.

    Which is the exact same search as if you do it by hitting your start key and start typing in the field. If you want to go to advanced, you always have the option of clicking on 'See more results' and using the upper right hand field if you want to use the filters.

    Actually, it's not. If you start typing in the search field in the Start menu, you get taken directly to the object you're searching for. However, if you hit the Windows key and F you are taken to a blank page that has a number of Search options (i.e. Email, Documents, Picture, Music, etc)
