Where to buy a Laptop video card.....

Not really support so i thought it should not be in the hardware support...... The 8800M died in my laptop so now its running off the on-board video... can anyone recommend a site besides ztronics.com for Laptop video cards? trying to find something alittle better than the 8800M and i seen my card on that site is $200+. The laptop is a Alienware Area-51 M15X-R1

 

You can check ebay. If you can get the 9800 gtx, that would be a better chipset, than the 8800m. Does it have to be one for an Alienware? Like how desktops are? Or does it have to be made to fit Alienware?
This is my card.. as you see they are not all the same... I don't know what that extra tab is for on the top left.

You need to contact the company at the link I posted, since they would be able to tell you. Desktop cards, it does not matter who makes them, it could be pny, etc., but for laptops/notebooks, you need to check with where you are purchasing from to make sure, due to they may have a restocking fee if you return, after finding that it does not work.
