Two days ago I got a BSOD - following that, every time opened Adobe or an Office application then I got an error message. Today I uninstalled both programs figuring that they were corrupted. I have not had a chance to reinstall and now I can not open in windows explorer windows without getting an error message. I tried to follow the sticky "How to debug memory dumps" but there are no files in c:/windows/minidump. I have not had the BSOD since Monday - do I just stick around and wait for another?

Is there another sticky that can tell me where to go from here in diagnosising the problem. This is my work computer so I need if fixed ASAP!

Get Bluescreen view from Nirsoft - you'll have to google it.
Do a SFC /scannow see if it helps
Perform a roll back to an earlier restore point.

When you get a BSOD, please note the last two things in the alphanumeric string before the parentheses.
Example: Stop 0x000000yz ( three other strings in here)
You note the yz numbers or letters and post; if there are any words, post them also.
