Where'd My Anger Go?!

i oft use the "anger" emoji on facebook via direct input: "> : (" (lose spaces)

since last nite, tho, it ain't working! ">" triggers some sort of "quote text" macro, putting a VERTICAL BAR on the left.

yeah, i've seen that in other contexts. but 10 years of angry texts says that "> : (" had its own definition on FB. until last nite.

what gives?

 

after some experimentation, i shud note that it still works if in-line with other text.

but as an isolated emoji on its own line (or entire own text), it's gone kaput.

i did a scroll up in some conversations, and the anger icons i had posted in the PAST are displaying just fine! bit surprised.

but i still can't make any new ones.

 

It's time to let go of your anger.

at this point, i'm mainly just angry that the icon is gone!
