Which Ad-Aware?

    Hi - just a quick, opinion-like question:

    I see there are several free flavors of Ad-Aware (2007, 2008, AE, etc.) - which one should a normal home or small business user use?

    Frankly I wouldn't suggest using any of them. That program has become relatively useless. I would suggest instead that you use MalwareBytes Anti-malware and SuperAnti-spyware. Neither give real time protection in the free versions, but they are the best as far as doing manual scans when you think you may be having a problem.
