    Which program to trust?

Tried Driver Detective, RadarSync 2006, Driver Magician and a few others.

Some said I had 33% good drivers, others said I had 74% good drivers.

One showed Intel drivers that needed to be updated, but when searching the Intel site, no such drivers existed.

I personally use none of them and as their are only a few drivers that update on a regular basis only check to see if those are updated,

    eg.
    Graphic drivers
    Sound Drivers
    Network Drivers
    Printer

Bios.. I leave well alone unless you have a specific problem that a bios update would fix, more problems can be caused by updating when not needed.

But what I would suggest is to use the best of those programs the one that said 74% and write down which drivers it said were out of date and goto the manufacturers site and check for the update as they are free, never pay for an update when they are free.

    Which Intel driver was it?

Other suggestions are if you have a pre-built PC like HP or DELL, use your model number to locate a list of drivers off their support and downloads area.

Everest is also a good program for showing you all the hardware in your PC and who manufacturers it, allowing you to goto their site and get any updated drivers http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html
