which firewall to use?

Since Sygate is now discontinued and it doesn't want to run for me on x64, what are some other alternatives?

 

This topic has been done to death, but anyway, the best choices in my opinion are,

ZoneAlarm and Agnitum Outpost.

 

Outpost won't run on my machine (wouldn't show up period, but process is in the list), same as Sygate did, and I had bad experiences with za before.

Any other recommendations?

 

Yes, don't use 64 bit.

As we discussed earlier, there is no advantage currently with 64bit.
