which is better 800MHz or 667MHz??

    I am looking to upgrade the ram in my current back-up pc but am not sure which is better...

    any help would be grately appreciated...

    800MHz or 667MHz?

    With MHz bigger is better, so 800MHz is faster than 667MHz. Just make sure that the computer can support 800MHz RAM, and that any sticks you are leaving in there are the same speed as the new ones.

    If you don't know, it's always advisable to consult an expert. The best way to do that, for the average user is to go to WWW.crucial.com and download and take their memory scan. That will tell you exactly what you have now, what you can buy to upgrade it and you can even order your new ram right there on their web site. I use them all the time for doing upgrades for my customers. (I don't stock or sell ram)
    Crucial uses only Micron RAM, which is VERY HIGH quality and they give a lifetime warranty on every piece of ram they sell.
