I am looking to upgrade my video card as mine is on it's way out (going bad). I currently have a PNY Geforce 6600GT 128mb card. It's an agp, I don't have a PCI-E slot on my motherboard, so I must stick with agp.

Here is the rest of my rig:

    Pentium 4 2.4ghz 533mhz FSB
    Soundblaster Live! 24-bit
    1.5gigs of PC2700 DDR Ram

Here are the two cards I am looking at:

    HIS Hightech H165PRQ512AN-R Radeon X1650PRO 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X IceQ Turbo Video Card - Retail

    and

    Geforce 7600GT 256MB DDR3 Dual DVI 560M AGP

The ATI is only a memory clock speed of 800mhz or is that dual 800mhz? Which would be the better card and would you choose something different in that price range and what would it be?

I'd go with the 7600GT (just bought one) as it's a faster card along with the fact that the other one will use your RAM to get to 512MB, which you have enough for. This is not to say that turbo cards are bad, I had a 6200TC and it worked well for me, even in Vista but I'm not a heavy user.
