which laptop to get???

    Cannot like Steve said judge the 2nd option but the 1st one looks good and comes with all the extras you need, carry case & printer etc

    and definatly go for the one with a brightview screen over one without ( if similar specs ) as they are superbly clear, I have a Compaq R4065 and would recomend one of those as would I bet Matacumbie ;)

    I just bought a HP special edition L2000 2 days ago and am extremely happy with it so
    far. And being a mac guy, that's saying alot.

    Originally I wanted to spend less than $1000 but sprung for a 3 year extended warrantee and got a dvd burner more memory and hd.

    Most important was the screen. If you have to look at an inferior screen for hours your eyes will go batty and you'll get headaches.

    I was told to stay away from the sempron in a laptop and get the centrino or turion processor.

    Battery life is better they say and don't run as hot and have software issues.
    (less freezes and crashes)
