White screen then crashes

    All of a sudden my screen goes white and freezes, sometimes blue - interestingly if I'm running Microsoft Essentials scan, it doesn't do it as often.

    I've ran countless malware detectors and nothing found.

    It's a laptop, vista home 32 bit

    Any help would be appreciated

    Have a search around, you may come across it. Or actually run a search.

    If you still cannot locate, run it again. :)

    I have ran it a few times but still can't seem to see where it saves it - what would it be called?

    Re run Hitman and have it delete Potential Unwanted Programs.

    Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.



    Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
    to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

    Any change?

    There were no threats but I added the registry text, rebooted and it crashed in two minutes but if I run Microsoft Security Essentials it seems to be crash free for some time.
