Whoa.. this number is way too high

I nabbed this screenshot from a japanese download site that has my software listed (can't belive it got around that fast). I can't believe the number of downloads it's had..(in red square)

Well I can see why you might think that number is BS. Of course, lots of sites spider each other to keep up to date (which is why stuff spreads so fast through news sites). Depends how they log "downloads", if its just visiting the download page that probably doesn't mean much, but if they do it properly (as in, they log when the file stream for the .exe file starts, you know)...

The 3700 is a pretty damn good number in itself though! I'm really pleased your little app is doing so well for itself! I did submit it to PC Utilities over here, we'll see if it gets in on a CD

Found it. Star_17 threw me off the scent.
It's LinkSync, not LyncSync.
MG search needs "sounds like" Soundex facility, to help with spelling errors. Bazza

Just a query, how does google come up with alternatives, when you make a spelling mistake? I know that they have slightly more money to throw at programming than MG does, but it would be nice to know how they do it? Bazza
